REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SURFACE TO BE COATED
The concrete surface must be dry, durable, free of loose, loosely connected areas, free of lime (cement) mildew, dust, grease and other substances that reduce adhesion. The new concrete base must be cured for 28 days. Cracks in the base of the floor must be sealed with putty mixtures. The humidity of the substrate should not exceed 4%. The tensile strength of the prepared substrate must be at least 1.5 N/mm2 (1.5 MPa). The compressive strength of the substrate must be at least 20 MPa (M 200). The surface of the concrete base must be level (the clearance under the two-meter control rail is not more than 2 mm), the deviation from the specified slope is not more than 0.2%.
In areas of intense exposure to sunlight and UV, there may be a slight change in the color of the coating, while there is no deterioration in the operational and protective properties of the coating. After curing, the coating is absolutely safe and is approved for use in public, industrial and residential buildings.
PREPARATION OF THE MATERIAL
The product must be prepared before application. To do this, component A must be mixed with component B in the proportions according to the instructions. Mix with a mixer for 3 minutes until smooth. If necessary, dilute to the desired consistency with Toluene. If accelerated polymerization is required at room temperatures, component B of a different modification should be used (provided by the manufacturer upon prior request).
Mixing of components: by weight per 1000 grams of base, 1000 grams of hardener.
APPLICATION
The product can be applied by roller, brush or spray.
Spraying: use airless spraying. Airless spray parameters: nozzle diameter (inches/1000): 19-25. Nozzle pressure (minimum): 150 bar/2100 lb/in2.
Brush: recommended for strip painting and painting of small areas. It is necessary to ensure the nominal thickness of the coating.
Roller: can be used for a small area. It is not recommended for the first primer coat. It is necessary to ensure the nominal thickness of the coating.
DRYING TIME
3 hours at 200 ° C.
KEEPING
The product must be stored in closed dry storage rooms at temperatures from + 5 ° C to + 35 °C. The shelf life of the product in undisturbed original packaging is 6 months. It is not recommended to store TLN Ceramic POL materials at temperatures below +5 ° C. However, the materials can withstand 1-2-fold freezing without changing their properties. In case of accidental spillage of materials and their components, it is necessary to assemble everything in a separate fireproof container. The spill sites are covered with sawdust or sand, followed by removal to safe places that meet the requirements of fire safety regulations.
SAFETY MEASURES
When working with materials containing toxic components, personal protective equipment (safety glasses, gloves, studded shoes, etc.) should be used to avoid direct contact of the materials with the skin of the workers. Materials should not be allowed to get on exposed skin and eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with plenty of water and consult a doctor. To protect the skin of your hands, use creams that do not contain fat or silicone. TLN Ceramic POL coating work should be carried out in ventilated areas. In rooms where polymer materials are stored, manufactured and used, smoking and work related to the use of fire are prohibited. At the end of the work, it is necessary to disconnect the used equipment from the mains, clean the hand tools with organic solvents or special flushes, and put the fixtures in order.
